The lamest email scam to date:

I read somewhere they introduce poor grammar and misspellings on purpose - that makes the person being scammed feel superior to them ‘stupid furriners’ so they are less likely to consider they are being scammed.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it seems plausible to me.

Anyway I agree with what ArrMatey! said - they are quite clever if nothing else.

It’s true. They’ve targeted their pitch to people who are definitely gullible enough to fall for it once.
