The Large Hadron Collider has failed to bring catastrophe. I am vexed.

No need to feel down. Bottoms up, and tomorrow you’ll come out on top!

I know no shame.

If you want to monitor the situation yourself, here is a link to a webcam inside the LHC.

Oh, I had no intention of letting the Earth be destroyed; as I have reminded y’all elsewhere, Earth is where I keep all my stuff. Plus Kim leaves here, and my nieces, and what’s-her-name. But I had plans to harness the power of the black holes for…

Never mind.

If I may suggest something, then why don’t use LHC to split Earth neatly into two parts? It would result in new area free for colonization and improve tourism and travel industry. Plus, low gravity areas in the middle could be used to test our space fleet technologies.

That’s the fleet of spacecraft designed to withstand a passage through white-hot pressurised iron, right?

Funny!

Skald, your wish may yet come true. The HLC is now down due to some repairs, which goes to show that is…fallible
