I’m not going to ressurect the ‘Doper names you like’ thread, but I’m mentally adding **harmless ** to that list. 
I’m cleaning the sprayed water off of my screen, which ended up there as the punchline dawned on me. It just struck me the right way 
If only it had been “mostly harmless”
I think we need a poster called “very dangerous”

I always have the same reaction on a forum page when I’m looking at the “last post” column and I see “by gum.” Every. single. time. I say to myself “By gum!”

I keep getting variations.
I use to get notified every time someone posted in a thread, which sucked because it would flood my inbox on a good thread.
Now I sometimes get notified, sometimes don’t, and sometimes it will notify me that the thread I’ve subscribed to has 15 new posts, the last being mine. :smack:
I just figure the hamsters haven’t anything better to do, or they are just a little off, if you know what I mean. 
As soon as I saw this thread I knew one of the first replies would be a Hitchhiker’s reference. I love the SDMB.
I have it set to update me once a day - maybe that’s why my message is different to yours, BiblioCat?
