Trump and various Republicans keep complaining about the leaks from intelligence agencies. I can’t help but wonder, when compromising information is learned about our political leaders, what would be the proper channels for releasing that? An indictment? Are intelligence agencies unable to release any information about an ongoing investigation? Plenty of info was released about Hillary’s emails and that was considered standard procedure, not “leaks”. What is different now?
The agenda.
That is the only difference. There is a fair amount of evidence that some of the leaking is not being done by the U.S. agencies but rather NATO allies. As such investigating the U.S. agencies is already a waste of time as there is nothing illegal being done.
