The problem with common decency is it’s not common. Personally, I’m of the belief that people universally have only those values that they can afford, but that’s another discussion.
It’s really not about common decency. It’s about a large group of people who have been culturally trained to hate us, and their leaders who are now using that hate to propogate sneak attacks set on destroying helpless and unsuspecting civilians in as large quantities as we can manage. It’s unfortunate, but it’s about the opposite of decency.
If their was such a thing as common decency we wouldn’t be in the position we’re in. Period. It rings false to me when you talk about collateral damage. Collateral damage is our enemies goal!
Geez, look what happens when we treat each other with a modicum respect.
