OK, as you may know, Aristotle’s successor as head honcho at the Lyceum of Athens was a guy called Theophrastus. Today I learned that when Theophrastus was to purchase new land to expand the Lyceum, he needed to have a special dispensation from the government, as usually only those who were born in Athens could own land there, and Theophrastus was from the island of Lesbos. That is, he was a lesbian. How odd and peculiar, then, that the successor to Theophrastus again, as the third big cheese at the Lyceum, turns out to be a dude called Strato. Which, I would assume, would make him somewhat of a straighto.
Oh, well. Never mind. Yeah, I’ll just go to sleep now.
