I wish I could remember where exactly I saw this, but I remember reading a poll a couple of months ago of people who work in network and cable news, rating numerous personalities on various factors.
Ann Curry was voted either the dumbest, or, at least, one of the dumbest (I forget which) personality in news.
I’m no fan of Ms. Couric, but she can say with some certainty that more people have been in her ass than anyone else in history. While she may not toss it out as a conversational nugget at cocktail parties, there’s gotta be at least a modicum of redemption from that fact. Or at least there should be based on my skewed view.
Mine too, but for entirely different reasons.

I don’t really know much about Katie Couric, seen her a few times on TV I guess, but this thread really makes me hate her. Kudos!
How about a Katie / Geraldo snuff porn? It would be the biggest seller of all time.
Shit yeah. Put that puppy on Pay Per View. We’d raise enough money to rebuild the entirety of the gulf coast from the ground up and have enough money left over to give each of the victims a big fat check. 
A reviewer–I forget which–claimed that Ann Curry put the unc in unctuous.
And she’s the bearable one, compared to Katie Couric’s feral cheerleader schtick.
This just reminds me why I stopped listening to that show even as noise to get me kickstarted in the morning.
