The ''lost'' Munsters episode

My guess is that when Eddie gets home from being bulllied a second time Grandpa instructs him to “bite him in the neck next time.” With how stupid kids are nowadays some little chump might take this as advice and bite their bully on the neck, potentially prompting many, many lawsuits. It’s a sad world we live in.

Here is a synopsis. I have no clue what is that bad about it.

Is it possible that it’s simply the obvious? I mean, I understand that TV Land attracts older viewers, and the term “Peace Offensive” may conjure up unpleasant associations in some people who lived through that era… Maybe there was a small but vociferous letter writing campaign, and TV Land just flinched. I mean, I’ve seen the episode (fairly recently, I think, but can’t for the life of me remember where) and it seemed no more offensive than any other Munsters episode.

People have gotten worked up over goofier things… I recall hearing that there was a group up in arms over the title of the recent movie The Two Towers because of a percieved 9/11 association.
