I love those old cheesy movies, and my husband is just a huge fan of them plus has a decent tolerance even for those new “SciFi Channel exclusive” movies as bad-but-funny background sound. After about 45 minutes of this film, we both agreed it was time to turn it off and put it back in the Netflix envelope. It just… wasn’t that interesting. Too slow and not quite enough to keep our attention. We both fully expected to enjoy it as a loving parody of those old films, and for some reason, we didn’t.
Cal, if you’re interested, Amazon.com still has it - and I may end up buying a copy myself, because it gets funnier every time I see it.
