The LOUD Family-What Happened to Them?

Does anybody remember the documentary made in the late 1970’s, about the California family named Loud?
I seem to remember that they were a psychiatrist’s dream-one son was gay (a real fag), another was into booze. The father (Bill?) was having an affair with his secretary (which lead to his divorce). All in all, they were a pretty screwy bunch-what happened to them all?

They were in the hotel room next to us on our last vacation. We couldn’t get much sleep. Finally, hotel security kicked 'em out.

They’ve been silenced. Permanently.

AFAIK the Loud Family is still very active and producing new music. Scott Miller actually sang at my friend’s wedding in mid '98 – not because he was good friends with the bride and groom, but because the couple is part of a large Loud Family fan group (and the two actually met at a Loud Family concert) – Scott Miller accepted the invitation to sing at the wedding after he found out how my friends met and got together.

Oh DUH… I see “Loud Family” and I immediately think of the band. I don’t think anybody else in this thread was…
oi!

Baglady, do you happen to know Aaron “Pudman” Milenski, who is part of that active group of Loud fans and may have been at the wedding of which you speak?

I don’t know anything about the band, but this reminds me of Albert Brooks’ brilliant first film, “Reel Life”. A take-off on the PBS documentary. I’d kind of like to see the doc, as Reel Life is one of the most ass-funny films I’ve ever seen.
