I have been a member of SDMB since Nov2000, and I never came here until this month, but I love it. But I was thinking that whoever took down the Members section otta consider putting it back up. It would be kinda cool to know woh has the most posts, the most frequent posts, longest posts, and other general info. Please consider it, or at least take the little button off the site
Sheesh. Get over it. It ain’t that big a deal. You couldn’t possibly have found a smaller nit to pick.
You’ve noticed, I’m sure, how slow this site can be from time to time. That’s because our server is overtaxed. Useless searches would only add to that load making things slower still. As for removing the button, why? The coding would have to be deleted from all page templates, and then if we ever upgrade the server allowing us to re-enable that feature, we’d have to re-insert the deleted code. It’s simply too much unecessary work for a money-losing site that’s staffed almost completely by volunteers.

Or we could base our opinions of others on what they post. Or is that just wacky?

Also, I believe that fundraising, etc has been discussed a lot over in ATMB- that’s probably where you will get more answers.
