Is Ben Stein truly a genius or just overly spoiled when he was a child?
Yet another utterly pointless thread is created.
He seems to be pretty knowledgable based on his trivia answering performance, but that doesn’t make him a genius IMO.
BTW, this thread is likley more suited to Cafe Society or IMHO, so don’t be surprised if it gets moved.

Ben Stein has done many notable things outside of show business (like Presidential speechwriter, for instance.)

I heard that he scored 1510 on his SAT when he was in high school. That would put him in “genius” range of IQs. There’s a more stringent qualification for Genius status that is reserved for the greatest thinkers, like Einstein, Newton, daVinci and Maimonides, and Ben Stein isnt all that. There are hundreds of folks as smart as Mr Stein.
Hey, welcome to the board newbie. (don’t worry I’m also one as well) 1510, the SAT is pretty easy if you study extrenously!!! My dad made me study a lot, and he scored me, I only got a 1367 at the age of 12… not very good for me, so I’m still studying.
I don’t think “extrenously” is a word. What exactly do you mean by it?
He means if you study imperiously you’ll do well on the SAT’s.
Or maybe “extraneously”. I’ve heard that if you study a lot of extraneous stuff, it’s pretty easy.
perhaps “extensively”?

there is no such SAT score as 1367…they all end in 0s, 1360 or 1370 would be a valid score but not 1367
