Somehow… I don’t think this was the right fight for ol’ Tom to pick.
Hehe. Brilliant.
Man, that’s some funny s**t! You just can’t make up stuff like this.
They needn’t worry about MI:III suffering on my account.
Somehow I don’t think Tom is that worried. Things may change but at this point Mr Mapother still has a huge worldwide fanbase. Matt and Trey have a cable cartoon show. And Tom has Viacom behind him.
I’d like to thank Mr. Cruise for raising this stink. If not for him, I’d still look at South Park as “a funny show that I just don’t get around to seeing anymore”. But thanks to the whining efforts of both himself and Issac Hayes, I’ve started watching again (thank you, youtube.com, for allowing me to catch up).
Diggty damn, that’s some funny stuff.
Someone really ought to introduce Mr. Cruise to the concept of “not dignifying that with an answer.” In any mud-slinging situation declaring war only gives the “other side” credibility, as in “methinks the lady doth protest too much.”
For a guy who’s lost his mind, joined a cult that makes the Raelians look like the Unitarians, had one of the worst sham marriages in history and did a Romper Room routine on Oprah’s set, Tom Cruise has no sense of humor about himself.
It’s clear the man has judgement problems. Being a Scientologist to begin with demonstrates that. His lawsuits against people who say he’s gay demonstrates it further. That’s why this story, which seems to be merely heresay, has such legs. It’s exactly what people would expect Cruise to do, whether he did it or not.
You forgot the fact that he dumped Mimi Rogers.
That, my friend, says it all.
