To add…I think that that serbian film is way more horrifying and disgusting. Because child rape happens, maybe, whereas four men locking up all of those girls and having their way with all of them, down to murdering each of them graphically and horrifically…well, it may happen on a smaller scale (one man + women/girls) but not to that scale. I dunno. Maybe it’s the difference between 1000 and 1,000,000 - our minds have a hard time envisioning the larger scale.
This thread sounds like a thinly veiled attempt to acquire a reading list without admitting that he’s tittilated by this sort of thing. It’s sort of like “porn is evil: can anybody recommend some websites?”
Ah, to be young and in love…with my own sense of absolute certainty.

My advice to the OP is judge not lest ye also be judged.
On the other hand, he is an ideal candidate for a position on the Texas school book review board; I think he’d fit right in.
[Obligatory joke answer] Anything by Nicholas Sparks [/Obligatory joke answer]
Actual answer: many books by Richard Laymon are seriously creepy, as in “dude’s got real issues here” creepy.
I have to disagree with you on American Psycho. I think it’s brilliant satire. It’s really quite funny once you really the whole thing is a whoosh.
OK, I can’t be the only who snickered at the fact that he commented that the Marquis de Sade’s work was not just vulgar but sadistic. No, really?
“Ugh. The Marquis de Sade is just so evil. And the portions are so small.”
I remember the first time reading Sade for class. I think it was the first time I got really aroused doing homework. :o
Right, I got that it’s a satire, it’s just that the satire failed completely to work for me.
I actually thought the movie version did a much better job with the material than the Ellis book did. YMMV, of course.
Recommending the Bible will only anger any easily-hurt Christians, rather than stirring up the “OMG delinquency of a minor/“grooming” techniques/you pervs!” mobs.
I love horror. I love Graham Masterson’s horror, specifically. He’s known for being very, very gory.
I could barely make it through “Eric the Pie” (link to a PDF of the story) without losing my lunch.
Ritual (also called Feast) is pretty disgusting too.
There was one about a guy masturbating underwater in a pool while the pump/filter suction thing was on his anus.
I’ll look for it when I get home from work.
Guts, by Chuck Palahniuk. You’re welcome.
olives beat you to it.
The worst thing about “Guts” was that it was based on a true story–that happened to a little girl.
BTW, Chuck’s story “Hot Potting” is pretty disgusting too.
D’oh! Missed that.
Hm, maybe I didn’t get into the stuff that was really depraved. I read Justine (the Misfortunes of Virtue) and parts of Philosophy in the Bedroom.
So…what book contains the rape and murder of toddlers? Uh, not that I’m interested in reading about toddler rape or anything…
Yup. Best to play it safe: Podkayne of Mars. Starship Troopers. Harry Potter.
Some brief Googling suggests that the toddler rape is likely in 120 Days of Sodom.
Also, thanks to the SDMB, my recent Google searches list is completely awesome. Let’s see, we’ve got “de Sade toddler rape,” “dan savage death grip” (that was for the masturbation thread), and most awesome, “masturbating underwater in a pool while the pump/filter suction thing was on his anus.”
Anyway. Carry on.
Edit: This thread is the #1 search result for “de Sade toddler rape.”
