 I was going to talk about the one I had three weeks ago. You stole my thunder.
I suspect the thunder occurred 3 weeks ago, Santo…
I’ve told all of these before, but I will join in the thread.
On the Ops note: When I was a freshmen in High School a particular dumb and tall Junior like to harass the nerdier Froshes. He had given one of my friends a particularly hard time and later that day, we were descending some stairs and he was just ahead of me.
I gave him a hard shove and said if he ever bothered me or any of my friends again, I would kill him next time.
He never bothered us again.
I had a fear of heights. I volunteered to be crew on the Clearwater for the week that ended with the 20th anniversary of Earth Day. On the second day, I got permission while we were at dock to climb the stays to the top of the main mast. I overcame my fear and did this. I then pushed on and climbed the blocks to the top mast.
On my last day, I got permission to go aloft while we were under sail. It was a quiet part of the sail. A folk singer was singer “It isn’t really garbage until you mix it altogether” followed by some of Pete Seeger’s songs.
I climbed up on this beautiful sunny day on the Hudson and sat up there listening to the sails, the river and the music. It was magical and an incredible experience.
My fear of heights has never come back to the level it was at before that week.
The night I helped my wife through her first childbirth and held my newborn daughter in my arms. It was an incredible and life changing experience.

OK, then. You do know that this is not normal behavoir, not is it particularly appropriate, right?
