I was digging this movie up until the end. WTF!? For the most part, I don’t like to admit that I didn’t ‘get’ a movie, but not so in this case. Wasn’t it sort of selfish for Kaufman to write the 2 main characters in the book, (that were SUPPOSED to be the main character), as jerks? Susan Orlean wants to kill Kaufman, and John Laroache kills his (fictionalize) brother. Then when Laroache is killed (by an alligator???), Orlean calls him a “fat shit” and all that crap!?
And then he continues to write a book about this ordeal.
I MUST have missed something.
Someone HELP ME OUT HERE!! Was this supposed to be like “Shadow of the Vampire”?
