The Froot Loops Toucan would be a prohibitively difficult and costly complication for a Rushmore granite-carving project. It would necessitate a much greater degree of excavation for that face (to allow for the proper projection of the beak), which, if not situated and angled astutely, would be in perennial shadow from being too deeply recessed into the mountain. Plus, the beak would pose a danger to the countryside below, as its long-term structural integrity would be tenuous at best.
