Wow! I started starting a thread that got 14 replies. Not bad for a begginer, considering that I had never post in english before!

I gave up smoking last year, after 27 years before the filter.
The method I used was in a book I found in a remainder sale. It recommends methods that fly in the face of all common wisdom about giving up smoking…BUT…it really works and is almost fun.

“Is it possible for shotguns or other firing mechanisms to fire effectively in a vacuum or outer space, assuming there is no oxygen present? Has anybody ever tested this? The reason I ask is to settle an argument with my dad after watching the film “Outland”, where a shotgun is fired normally from outside a space station. Wouldnt it need oxygen to ignite the gunpowder? Furthermore, if this is possible, would the bullet carry on at a constant speed in a vacuum after reaching its terminal velocity until it hit something, without air pressure to slow it?

Well, this isn’t really funny work terminology, rather funny things that happened there… I worked tech support and we had to ask the callers for their usernames. I won’t say who I worked for, but someone’s username was “horny_mexican”, and someone else’s was “PooOnU82”. I had to mute the phone to giggle.
Also, once someone called and was watching a porn, I could hear it in the background. I put him on mute to make fun of him: “HAHA this guy is watching a PORN, is this really the right time to call tech support?” So my cubemate made a huge deal and told me to hang up, which I wouldn’t do, but a crowd of about 6 people gathered behind my desk and started saying things like, “I don’t think it’s his COMPUTER he’s playing with!” I kept having to mute the call so he wouldn’t hear them.
That was my first post, in this thread, last April: Things at work that make you giggle.
I just wanted to use fixedsys for this post. I LOVE fixedsys.
Mine is in this thread . I mentioned several terms (congregation, float, bask, and treachery ) used to identify a collective of crocodiles.
