I drove over it twice today. Seems functional.
I haven’t been there yet. I’ll probably do it this weekend. I have to admit, I’m a little nervous about it. I kind of want to let some other people go for a couple of days and see what happens.
Now let’s just hope this one stays standing.
I cannot believe that a replacement bridge would have been built so quickly here. I realise that there was an unusual level of political will behind the project, but it’s impressive nonetheless.

We’ll be going over it Monday. TheKid doesn’t want to, she’d rather take backroads from DT Minneapolis over to the U. It does look pretty though.
It looked pretty cool from the top of the Guthrie the other night, too. The blue sculptury-thing at the end is lit up at night. I think it is supposed to be the river, but that is probably too easy.
I went over it twice tonight. It was kind of anti-climactic. It’s a bridge. It’s nice to have that route open again, though.
