The new and improved 2008 Sapo.

Damn, I’m gonna have to step up the posting rate to take up the slack in traffic from these here parts… or start Dopeselytizing
Éxito y suerte en todo lo que venga, Sapo.

[es|en]Success and good luck in everything that comes[es|en]
This one looks right.

[es|en]May God bless you and everything you might want to come to you. Whether you strange.[es|en]
Can someone clean this one up?

Jim

That one sounds dirty.

Why? What’s wrong with that? Should they have left out the “Whether”? :stuck_out_tongue:

Ooooh! Pick me!

‘‘May God bless you and everything you want come to you. I already miss you.’’

Cool, I thought the last past might be, “Don’t be a stranger”.

Jim

Oh, that would make sense. Extrañarse = ‘‘to miss,’’ it sort of makes sense, I remember it by thinking of the word ‘‘estranged.’’

For those interested, ‘‘Sapo’’ means ‘‘toad’’ in Spanish. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Sapo because my host father in Mexico would always sing to ‘‘los sapos’’ so I associate this with that cool experience living in the mountains among the sapos.

The equivalent idiom in Spanish would be “No te pierdas.”

I wasn’t able to post to this thread when it was created, due to acting like an idiot, so I’ll say it now.

Sapo was one funny guy. And he was able to say what I was thinking, only better. If he comes back, I’ll welcome him back happily.
