During broadcasts of Cubs games on WGN radio, Pat Hughes is the play-by-play man, but he takes a break in the 5th inning. In the past, there have been some competent broadcasters to cover the 5th inning. This year, however, they have a new 5th-inning man named Judd Sirott. I have no clue what is going on in the game when he’s doing the play-by-play. He is very slow to describe the action, and his voice gets excited at inappropriate times (e.g., a routine grounder). Hopefully the powers that be will find a new 5th-inning guy before too long.
Never mind. Misread.
