I tried that once. The trigger locks kept poking me.
Anyway, we’re free to get abortions and gay marriages, so enjoy your fascism, you jackbooted Yanks.
[does the happy freedom dance]
The prob, Kably-boo, is that you say so many dumb things that your attempts at humour get lost in the shuffle.
Anyway, your view of “freedom” is hopelessly tainted by the fantasy you’ve been sold of ruggedly gun-totingly carving out the wilderness or some such crap. At most, you have to wait for the snowplows to clear the road to the mall.
If you wondered whether the right to bear arms was actually a tragic mistake (etc.** QS**'s pretty hyperbolic statement) why did you have a pistol? I mean, it seems as though owning a gun would be the end result of a fairly decisive opinion on whether they were useful for self defense, on the side that they were.
Sure, I get that. I’m just asking, if you were still wondering, if you were uncertain as to whether the right to own guns was based on a tragic mistake, why did you own a gun in the first place? For me personally, if I shell out the money to own something it would be having already decided whether or not the basis for my owning that thing was sound and reasonable. Especially if I were obligated to some level of responsibility with that object.
Nope. I think you probably could have asked that in GD, too, if you’d done so in that way. It seems to me that it was more the whole “I’ll just link this here, no more said about it” method of you doing so before that brought a mod down on you.
Your countries gun laws are a lot less free than mine. Don’t think so, try buying an 20 round rifle magazine. Oh wait, it’s on the list of things you are not free to own. So sorry, just pretend you wouldn’t want one.
Nope. I do have OCD, but that’s about the sum of my mental health oddities.
If nothing else, I don’t talk like I write (whether I actually make any more sense in speech is another thing entirely ;)). But anyway, if i’m reminding you of acquaintances on the autistic spectrum, it’s just coincidence.
Did you copy and paste that section on** speech** and language without reading that about half plus of it refers specifically to speech? “This all seems to fit” seems - beyond pedantically - hyperbolic.
Anyway, like I said, I do have OCD, so I have been psychiatrically evaluated. I’d like to think that at some point it would have been pointed out if they thought I had some other undiagnosed mental condition. And from my personal experience i’d say I don’t have anything like that. I wouldn’t have said it counts, but apparently you would, so i’ll point out that it’s never before been suggested to me by strangers on the internet that they thought I was somewhere on the autistic spectrum, or indeed by people I know well. So I guess it’s myself, mental health professionals, and everyone else i’ve ever known plus everyone i’ve ever met vs. your opinion on that.
