So, basically, the Right Wing is triumphant in federal and state politics across the land, crime is still low except for hotspots like Chicago and Baltimore, there is no threat of a gun grab any time in the next 8 years, so the panic hoarding of guns and ammo has relaxed.

I think the gun industry would be happiest if there were all-out street warfare, everywhere in the world. As long as the stockholders have a safe place to live and store their money, that’s all that counts.
I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but I do think that that ad was not aimed at your typical NRA gun lover who already has a dozen guns and ammo stocks for the end of the world. They watch that video and smile to themselves, because they are ready, and they can’t wait for the day to unleash their toys on some libtard scum.
The video was aimed at those of us who are not gun owners, making us aware that a civil war is in the making, and reminding us that we are not ready for when the NRA sycophants come out to start killing all those groups that make them feel uncomfortable.
I saw that ad, and my first though was, “I need to get down to the gun store and get me a gun, I am not ready for this civil war, and apparently it is starting today.”
Do that three years in a row and you can vote in their board elections.

I freely admit I posted a sexist comment to a YouTube video about Loesch, a comment I would not make if she were a man.
In my defense, I’m describing only my own feelings, unlike Loesch who attributes violence, revolution and hatred to hundreds of thousands of people she has never met.

I’m telling this joke because while that video is outrageous propaganda, it’s also empowering. It makes me think the e-mail and phone campaigns,the protests and town halls are working. And it makes the alt-right types look weak and scared.
As a side note, I’m also relieved that the Republican leadership style seems to be “hold rallies where you blame the Democrats for everything, and promise you will change things someday” I SAN live with that for 3.5 more years.
