I thought this guy was supposed to show up for these town meetings
Instead we get people like this
The interviewer was also a cornhole, with his leading questions. “You speak for so many people. What is it that you and Senator McKaskill and so many others are upset about?”
The guy has absolutely no idea what he’s afraid of and what he’s upset about, and the czar thing doesn’t make any sense. Terrible and stupid choice for an interview and you can see the anchors are struggling to get him to settle down a bit and say something sensible.
As far as making fun of how the guy sounded, he’s definitely nervous, and MSNBC said he has a lung disorder.
Why is he “speaking for them”? Because you say he is? Because he says he is? Because some reporter says he is?
One could ask the same of the anti-war protestors, feminists and gay rights activists of the last forty years or so.
But then of course then one would get called a war-monger, a sexist, or a bigot.
I have mixed feelings about them having had him on the show. On the one hand, they’ve probably been getting a lot of flack about being the “liberal media”, not letting these people state their positions, etc., on the other hand… well, look at the result. They’ve made a public spectacle of this poor, confused, and physically ill man.
Part of me feels some satisfaction that giving them the forum they wanted has shown them for what they are, and part of me feels dirty for feeling that satisfaction.
It is really said that Barac HUSSEIN Obama has decided to use the tactic of finding the dumbest Republican and saying that that person speaks for all Republicans. I know that Barack HUSSEIN Obama endorses this tactic because you in this thread are Democrats and he is the leader of the Democrats.
Because he and those like him are the only ones out there speaking for the Republican’s side.
It’s cute how you think you’re trying to make a point.
You know why I reject any notion of sympathy for this numbskull and his ilk?
Because they’re on the side of the people who keep whining about personal responsibility.
Where is his personal responsibility to educate himself about the facts of the healthcare proposal, or about czars, or about what Senator Spector does or does not support, or how much he’s taken from lobbyists?
He could be considerably less confused, less stupid and consequently less paranoid if he took the responsibility of getting some real information from reliable sources. Instead he’s taking commentary opinion as fact, and taking action based on marching orders from who knows what special interest group or blithering moron on talk radio or Fox News.
I have no sympathy. None.
How can you breathe with Limbaugh’s inseminator so far down your kissin’ hole?
You see, my simple peach, the point is that the muppet is an example of the average republican today. Stupid and uninformed. Unlike you, who isn’t really stupid, just a contrary douchenozzle. You at least have ideology coloring your views, this guy doesn’t have ideology, he’s just heard rumors and is afraid. And the republicans have been motivating the hooples with fear, prejudice and lies so that they turn out to vote so ideologues, like you, can get their policies enacted.
Trouble is, your ideology is wrong, and you’re willing to self-delude to protect it.
All in all the party is a train wreck and the only reason it has any power is because of angry muppets who don’t know what they’re fighting for like our friend Mr. Miller. Ya dig?
He did? He found the very dumbest Republican? In only six months? Damn! That’s some shit, there.
Boy, when RandRover puts Obama’s middle name in his name, and capitalizes it, it really gets under my skin! It’s all I can do, as I’m sure it is with everyone here, to not jump at this bait! How’d he learn how to push our buttons so well? I can’t stand people knowing Obama’s middle name is Hussein!
You see, it’s the same name as the guy who stole my wife…
The stupid ones seem to float to the surface.
Get it right, the name is HUSSEIN.
Stephen Hawking?
His contempt for the mentally disabled is disgusting, the way he sits there all day with his lolling head, his drooling mouth, his goofy smile and stilted phony-sounding speech. Who does he think he is, some kind of theoretical physicist? He really gives his fellow Americans a bad name.
Wrong. He’s just the only one you are paying attention to because you are too stupid to deal with more intelligent critiques of Obamacare.
Slowly I turn…step by step…inch by inch…
If only you were right.
Well, now, lets be clear, that’s a hell of a lot of power. Toxic power, to be sure, the kinda weapon that injures more or less without discrimination. A bunch of crazy, angry people is a very energetic entity, politics-wise, its just that its a loose cannon with the fuse lit, it’ll go off, but you don’t know for sure which direction its going to be pointing.
And the energy attracts attention, makes these people powerful out of proportion to thier actual numbers. And its working, now there’s a health care debate when before it was just sort of loping along towards the finish line.
Trouble with this strategy is, that’s all you got. Nobody is going to vote, there will be no referendum, no plebescite, the Beast aroused and fed will not have a target.
Remember, if you’re going to try this kind of shit, put the collar on* first!* Then give it the rabies capsules and the electric shock.
Oh, you poor thing! So brutally treated for so, so very long!
Guys, I propose a minute of silence to express our deep and abiding sorrow about how Starv and his ilk are so brutally treated!
OK, ready? Go!
Great, thanks! OK, where were we?
