when i was a kid, the only thing on tv that was remotely hot was james bond movies (and ginger, as well, raaaowww). i tend to think of the movies in regards to the bond girls contained therein.
with that criteria in mind, dr no and ohmss are my two faves. ursula undress, oh my sweet christ! diana rigg, be still my beating heart! jill st john, in her bikini (yikes), and the girl from thunderball also stick to my mind.
i agree with cal and hometown boy: ohmss is a good bond movie, and probably the one that follows the book most faithfully. i as well worshipped the bond novels as a youth, used to keep a complete set (paperback, those cool 60s/70s ones) on my desk. thats why im a roger moore guy; i think he most closely resembles the book bond: urbane, ironic, disaffected. sean connery gets too SWEATY to be a good bond, ya know?
Bonds:
- Connery
- Dalton
- Brosnan
- Lazenby
- Moore
