I was about to inform Ranchoth that he was wrong (and that Virginia Davis died last year) until I noticed this thread was started last year. :smack:
Alas! She died on August 15, 2009.
Yep.
Karl Malden’s gone, too.
Not the oldest but Baby Peggy Montgomery was born in 1918 and making movies at age four. Unfortunately many of those shorts haven’t survived. Neither did he fortune from her thieving step-grandfather/grand uncle and the Depressionhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_Peggy
Been watching the “Dragnet” tv shows on Netflix. Harry Morgan (Officer Bill Gannon) is still alive at 95. Unfortunately he didn’t make any films until until 1942 “To the Shores of Tripoli”.
Maureen O’hara, born 1920, was also in that film. Somehow the bantering back and forth between Gannon and Friday seems more interesting when you realize that jack Webb, five years younger, passed away in 1982.
