The opposite sex

I provided some on the first page.

Women are much more willing to admit to being sick or uncomfortable instead of trying to tough it out silently. Which I’ve heard given as one of their advantages, since that also means they go to a doctor sooner than a man would for the same problem

There’s nothing I particularly envy about being a man, there are just some things, as a woman, I could do without.

The wacky PMS-related hormone shit and the cramps I could do without.

The constant indication from society at large that I should be really worried about my appearance and doing everything possible to not look quite so unattractive. The constant pitching of products designed to make me feel insecure about my looks… could I ever do without that.

The general sexist shit. Not any one thing in particular, just the steady accumulation of input that says, ‘‘Hey, you’re inferior.’’

The aggression problem, I could do without. It would be nice sometimes to feel less concerned with others’ feelings and more concerned with what I actually want, and it would be nice if that was considered totally acceptable rather than unbecoming of my gender.

I would really rather these inconveniences be removed, though, rather than change genders. I really enjoy being a woman. I love being soft and dressing up pretty and having society’s permission to be in touch with my emotions and have always generally felt that I fit very well here. The multiple orgasms are definitely a plus. I can’t help but feel a little bit sorry for anyone who can’t get off 7 times in one minute.
