As a Jew, I found the depiction of an Orthodox Jewish man attending the Crucifixion while smiling, dancing, clapping, laughing, and cheering with pom poms to be, literally, laugh-out-loud funny.

Makes me even gladder I didn’t see the movie: I had trouble stomaching THAT, and it was just a cartoon! 
The people you’re talking about are allergic to parody. They wouldn’t care either way.
