I don’t see the point of flags. I disable them on my copies of mindsweeper. Are are they useful? They just suck up time.
Let’s say I have a number 3 showing, and it’s touchnig five blocks. From other numbers, you know where two of the mines are, but the last mine could be in any one of the last three. If you used falgs, you would mark all three of those with a flag? Personally, I just leave them and come back to them when I am sure of where that last mine is. I don’t need to mark them, the very fact that they are touching a number, yet not marked as a mine, indicates that I am unsure of the mine’s llcation, so why do I need a seperate indicator for that?
Uh, do you mean flags, or question marks? Because I don’t think there is a way to disable flags and you also need flags to chord. I play without flags sometimes and while it’s fun it takes much, much longer.
