This reminds me of a Daily Show episode four long years ago. It was the final day of the Republican convention and Bush was about to be formally nominated. The TV news showed a reaction shot of him, but for some reason it looked like the camera was placed on the floor, and you could see that Bush was, um… well, to use his own words from last month, “Want some wood?”
Stephen Colbert’s report unleashed a string of great childish puns. “Bush is standing tall in a recent poll… Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Johnson administration.”
