Actually, I see my competition as the newer 350 CID Camaros and Corvettes. In all fairness, try comparing a $19,000 1998 Mustang GT with a $3000 blower to a $40,000 Vette. I guarantee I will win that race, at about half the cost. And I can have the dealer install the blower - no muss, no fuss.
I am quite a bit irritated over the outrageous horsepower and torque numbers that get thrown as gospel by people, but I already went over that in another thread and it does not bear re-hashing here. People don’t care if you acknowledge their car with 200 real horsepower is incredibly fast, they take it as an insult to their very manhood if you do not agree that because Chevrolet advertised “400 hp” back in 1968 that it surely must be that, and not a single hp less.
People unfortunately tend to treat cubic inches as being synonymous with pubic inches.
