Even if people from Class A, B, or X sucked, what could we do about it? We Americans are all conditioned to think of ourselves as middleclass, whether we make $40,000 a year or $4,000,000.
Anything that really confronted the issue of class in this country would tear the already frayed lattice of our social fabric right to shit. Even admitting that is risky if you’re in public life.
Are we talking about airline policy? Because I, too, have never really understood the need for Business Class seats either, or how it’s all different from First Class…
Didn’t know they offered Political Class and Monied Class seating. Now that I know, I’ll be sure to take a copy of my Trust Fund statements so I can get an extra 2 inches of room and a full can of Diet Coke.
