I’m not seeing any relation of these people to the others at all, to be honest. John Denver and Keith Carradine were run of the mill country-ish types, popular but hardly changed the world of music… Huey Lewis was a tragically over-aged frat boy appealing to other frat boys, he was about as deep and thoughtful as a puddle in a parking lot… Gilbert Gottfried is brilliant, who the hell is John Fiedler, and wasn’t Gene Rayburn a game show host? What does he have to do with George Clooney?
The “National Treasure” movies (starring Nicolas Cage) is just an American version of the “DaVinci Code” books (and movies). Probably a poor man’s version too.
These people relate to each other only in that they are in the same section of the music industry. These seem to be random names taken off of a comic actors list, and a singer/musician list. PERHAPS the Reiser/Lewis comparison isn’t wholly without merit, but if so, they are reversed.
The DaVinci code books are poor man’s books, period, and even Tom Hanks couldn’t elevate their movie adaptation. Dan Brown’s work is wretched.
The National Treasure movies were ridiculous, fun popcorn movies. If anything, they were poor man’s Indiana Jones movies - except that Indiana Jones 2 and 4 were, themselves, poor man’s Indiana Jones movies.
