These Feuds are exercises in cooperation. (Yes, they’re competitions, but we’re competing to see who cooperates best! )

Given this, an obvious approach is to ask oneself “Is there an obvious criterion that co-operators could adopt, without any consultation?” In this Feud, recency suggests itself as such a criterion. (Indeed, subconsciously using that criterion may be why I missed Carter to go with Bush-41 :smack: )

I’m not worried that this observation will spoil future Feuds! Given my recent track-record, Dopers are likely to do the opposite of whatever septimus suggests! :dubious:

[eta] ah, too late

I think it would have been interesting to have a “no repeat answers” rule for this fued. It probably would have spread out some of the answers.

  1. Obama
  2. Ford
  3. Eisenhower
  4. Lincoln
  5. Carter
  6. Kennedy
  7. Kennedy
  8. Reagan
  9. Truman
  10. Kennedy

Urgh…looks like I’m too late. I agree that “no repeats” would have forced interesting choices…where to put Kennedy, for example?

Arlington?
