True. The only point of score is to beat the high score or the friend you are playing with. We never cared what the magnitude of the score was.
The new machines they were making right before all the pinball companies went belly up were much better than the old classic machines. In addition to flashing lights you had great sound, lots of ramps, many moving gates, separate skill games on the backscreen, and of course… lots of multiballs.
Ahh, a quiet bar, a cold pitcher, and a loud machine. Those were some good evenings.
