The purchasers of products

what does this sentence means

“The purchasers of products given as gifts are not the ultimate users of those products”

I am stuck with this English “The purchasers of products given as gifts” …how to get the meaning for this ?

Certain products are given as gifts by their purchasers

Put another way:

If someone buys an item and gives it to you, then you are the person who uses the item.

not clear .

Suppose, I purchased a TV . now what is the gift here ? do you mean one more TV as free a gift or anything apart from TV as a gift ?
alternatively , I am asking whether the purchased products are the gifts as complimentary and given in addition .

No, if you buy a TV and give it to someone else, then it’s a gift. You’re not the user, you’re just the purchaser.

Ah…now I get it

I should emphasized the wording here…

The purchasers of products given as gifts are not the ultimate users of those products"

Now everything peaceful

Thanks a lot for the clarification
