Sherlock Homekeys!
This thread makes me thick of poor chowder, who I’m convinced is dead. There was a semi-concerted effort once to try to locate him in Manchester to see what happened to him. No one ever found him.

Seems to me that folks who have the well-being and best interests of this board at heart would do everything in their power to discourage irate members with juvenile mentalities and poor judgement from waging Google or Facebook attacks/investigations against members. For one thing, it gives the board a reputation for permitting and/or encouraging such vindictiveness and destructive behavior, and two, the stalking and defamation laws that may come into play, and civil actions that may arise from such activities, may find some culpability on the part of the message board.
I won’t mention which one, but a musician message board, in the past, suffered legal expenses and general mayhem from similar activity generated by members against other members, and has instituted draconian policies that make posting and reading there less than satisfying. I hope that wouldn’t/couldn’t happen here. But, i guess it could.
I’m not an attorney, so don’t argue the legal possibilities with me … I’m sure there are some real lawyers hereabout that understand libel and stalking laws and can clear up the details.
