Just finished James Patterson’s ‘2nd To Die’ and now I’m in the middle of Grisham’s ‘The Summons’ which is his usual lawyer type book.
I found that it was the perfect “next book” after Demon Haunted World.
I just finished tormenting myself with Charles Dickens’ “Bleak House”. Me and Charlie have a love/hate relationship and this wasn’t one of the more enjoyable experiences.
Also just finished Ralph Helfer’s “Modoc: The True Story of the Greatest Elephant That Ever Lived”. True story my ass. Memo to Ralph: don’t keep referring to an elephant’s wondrous tusks when the pictures show a tuskless elephant.
Presently I’m reading Bill Bryson’s Made In America: An Informal History of the English Language in the United States". He’s an absolutely wonderful author. I highly recommend “A Walk in the Woods” about his misadventures on the Appalacian Trail.
