The Rhymers are a Nielsen family during sweeps: what should we watch?

OK, granted. But I have no idea who **Skald the Rymer ** is, and based on his location, he may be **right behind me ** and I wouldn’t know it. So he’s “protected his privacy” from me.

Two things come to mind: continue to not watch shows. The fact that you’re now part of the ratings shouldn’t affect what you’re watching and despite it annoying DMark a decline in viewership is also something that is tracked. Be one more nail in the coffin of the networks.

Second, for god’s sake don’t watch the Simpsons. If there was ever a show that needed a mercy killing that’s it.

Thrid and most importantly, watch OpalCat’s new show: Thursdays at 8pm on Fox!

Lost - ABC - Thursdays at 10pm

The Manic Organic on Discovery-Home has new episodes on at 8pm on Mondays.

I suggest How I Met Your Mother. It is actually a really good effort at a traditional, multi-camera sitcom. It is always good for a consistent laugh.

Besides, my neighbor’s step brother created it and is the basis for the main character, Ted. I’ve never met the creator, but my neighbor is a friend. I’ve also had beers with the creator’s dad, who was portrayed on the show by Steven Keaton from Family Ties (the real life dad looks more like Toth from Raiders of the Lost Ark, pre-meltdown).

It is always one of those bubble shows, it doesn’t take much introduction, and it will give you at least five HARD belly chuckles per half hour.

Well How I Met Your Mother is the best show on TV and is my only must watch all week. The characters have a great chemistry and the jokes come pretty quick. Its been on the bubble every year so it could use a boost.

Reaper is pretty good show so I’ll throw a recommendation for that but I only catch it occasionally.

Lately Psych reruns have been on CBS and it’s a great show a very quirky detective show that has a guy pretending to be a psychic. It’s always good for a laugh.

But beyond this I have really lost track of TV since the strike. House is great but it doesn’t need any more viewers.

Well, HIMYM has Aly Hannigan on it, so of course I’m watching it, even if she keeps her clothes on the entire time

Nothing but Animated shows.
Period.

May I humbly suggest that you watch nothing that you would not watch anyway, and if that means you watch nothing, tell them.

I don’t know anything about Nielsen and their survey - do you just get to tell them what and when you watched, or do you get to comment? If I got the chance to comment, I’d tell them that commercial TV is utter crap that I can’t be bothered to waste my time on. Furthermore, I avoid the products advertised on commercial TV because that would be collaborating in the evil of banality. If more people got to do that (and the buggers listened) then maybe someday it’d improve - but I’m not holding my breath.
