A picture of what it’s going to look like just showed up online.
Oh yeah … I am definitely getting myself one of these!

I may need to move to the little tiny state just to have one.
Eutychus, buddy, pal, can I stay with you for a while, until I find a place of my own?
Very cute.
I have to say, I like it.
It’s for a good cause A little odd since it’s not Idaho but still, I’d probably support it if I lived in RI.
That’s so cool!!! It makes me wish the state I end up in is Rhode Island… if only they had more states with the Mr. Potato Head picture on their license plates.
Huh. Now that my car is mine and not the bank’s, maybe I’ll treat it to some Mr. Potato Head plates! They are kinda cute. And I have family that worked for Hasbro…

hey
That’s really cool. It helps the hungry, and it features one of Rhode Island’s most famous citizens (Hasbro is headquartered in Pawtucket).
Good lookin’ little spud you got there Euty…
Please tell me I’m wrong but…
I still say he looks just like Paul Goodloe!
Awww… he’s cute!
Mr. Potato Head is okay. But a Mr. Peanut license plate! Now that would be cool!
(What? Biased? Me? Naaaww. )
I’m getting one for each car! How cute it is.
Since it’s to benefit the food bank, I’m delighted that it doesn’t have Alan Shawn Feinstein on it. Could you imagine that? He’s proof that philanthropy doesn’t require a nice outfit or a comb.
Idaho has Famous Potatoes on every license plate. I always get a kick out of that. Now R.I. will have a real famous potato on its plates? Somebody alert Boise. This will require some kind of retaliation, I am sure. Don’t be surprised if Mr. P.H. wakes up with the mop-top virus some day.
I think RI should offer souvenir plates for non-residents, like what Virginia does with their Fight Terrorism plates.
I grew up in RI, lived there for 14.5 years, and I never knew Hasbro was headquartered in Pawtucket. I couldn’t imagen why RI was using Mr. Potato Head as a symbol. At least it’s for a good cause.
LOLOL!!! Maybe I should finally register my car in RI…
It’s a cute plate.
But did anyone else note some of the odd facts in the accompanying information provided in the link?
Does this state really NEED a plate to combat hunger??
OK, I guess they do.
Sounds to me more like they need a plate to combat bureaucrats…
Of course I grew up south of Boston, so maybe I’m a bit biased
