At your discretion, would this entry be acceptable, if it is indeed illegal to write on currency?
It’s my submission unless disqualified.

Oh suuuuuurrrreeeee
Design a contest with such an imaginative way to have fun on vacation.
A year and some months after my/our** Big Fat German Vacation.**
I coulda got Hamburg, Baltic Sea, North Sea yeah, it’s not on the list and the Great Lakes are strangley exclued, you snob!, but still… Atlantic Ocean, In Front of a Windmill and…(reading above) Niagara Falls! I was just there last Monday!
AIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I coulda cleaned up in this contest…you stinkin’ bastard!
I can’t win this year in the Dead Pool and now this…will it never end?
I hate you with a firey passion of 10,000 boxes of red hots.
::::::::::::Off to the zoo to get my picture taken with the Tigers:::::::
Hah, I drive past three windmills each week…will I get a jackpot award for a hat-trick?
I took a bath and brought my camera. Looks like the rising of swamp hag, but I got me some points.
PG-13, unless the kids scare easily.
I think it is illegal to deface money, however, I don’t see how a small note on one would be bad…after all, they used to make WheresGeorge stamps for that reason alone. So I’m going to hold on your dollar submission and ask about it in GQ (only after I try googling first, of course).
Gorrillaman, now see, that WOULD work if not for Rule 3…namely that each thing can only be used once. So it would count as one windmill.
And Shirley, you’ve got a year. Maybe you’ll have the oppurtunity again?
Anyway…Anastasaeon is taking a very early lead with 250 points. She’s currently in first place AND…well, only place.
As I am actively trying to win the lottery ( it’s at 192million and it’s MINE!) I will get all of these fantastic destinations and MORE!
I just need 7 lucky numbers. and learn to skydive.
Argh, I JUST went skydiving last weekend!
You can write on money, as long as you are not doing it for fraudulent purposes.
You are cute as hell! (if I can say that)
How about:
In an operating room?
In a coffin? (please don’t be dead)
On top a flagpole (ok, maybe not)
In a caboose or engine?
In a cockpit?
In a submarine?
helicopter?
In a space capsule (real one)
In a carriage/racing sulky/high perch phaeton?
wheelchair?
Golden Gate bridge?
Sears Tower?
White house?
Ground Zero?
air traffic control tower?
This is fun! (I won’t win any points at all-I don’t have a digital camera and I never go anywhere. Do I get pity points?)
Apparently writing on US money is all right as long as your intent is not to render it unfit for reissue.
Since that wouldn’t be my or (hopefully :p) your intent in this game, I’ll have to not accept your submission. However, that doesn’t disqualify you from this photo. You can take it again if you wish.
By the way, I JUST now looked at your bath photo. I loved it.
eleanorigby, I like your suggestions. Instead of reposting the entire list of mine with yours added (and point values assigned), I’ll just repost your list of suggestions along with the point values.
Some of them you suggestion I already have on the list though.
In a wheelchair? 20
In a carriage/racing sulky/high perch phaeton? 60
In an operating room? 100
In a coffin? 100
In a caboose or engine? 100
In a submarine? 100
helicopter? 100
air traffic control tower? 100
In a space capsule (real one) 200
Ground Zero? 200
On top a flagpole [if somebody can really do it, however don’t get hurt, professionals only] 400
<hangs head>
It was a long list and I was in a hurry…
About Oval Office? Or #9 (isn’t it?) --the PM’s abode in London.
221 Baker Street (good luck with that one)
Abbey Road crossing?
London Eye?
Ok, I’ll stop now.
Too bad Virgin Galactic isn’t going yet. I’d love to see how many points you’d get for “In Space”.
One think I tried to do is not have too many things on the list that were in the same place. Cause then someone could just go out and get a bunch of points and get an unbeatable lead.
This is why I didn’t put down the Arc De Triomphe (sp?) Or Cathedreal at ND, because both those and the Effiel Tower can all be gotten in one blow fairly easily. So if I had put those all down for, say, 300 points each, someone could and would probably really take charge.
I tried spacing out the things. So all those things you suggestion in London, they just seem too close together a bit, you know?
The Purdue women’s basketball players and coaches toured France and Switzerland this past summer. At the team’s pre-season banquet (which I attended last week), a video of the journey was shown. The Louvre was one of the stops, and the footage included shots of many of the paintings. including the Mona Lisa. So it’s apparently permitted to photograph these works, at least by certain people/in certain situations. Most museums don’t allow flash photography, but many do permit pictures/films to be taken with “available light”.
eleanorigby: The address you want is 10 Downing Street.
Alright then, here’s my dollar. I circled SDMB in red with MSPaint, because it was pretty damn small.
Haha, great job.
Okay, well, Anastasaeon is growing stronger. She currently has 450 points. Can she be stopped by taking such an early lead? Well, you all still have 11 months and 26 days.
Many thanks, Sternvogel–I kept thinking #9 Wimpole Street (wherever and whatever that may be).
Gotcha about the proximity of things. I need a digital camera (but I need a new computer first)
Heh… I wonder how many Dopers will get this dollar in their hands at some point?
Well, right now the address belongs to a London accounting firm, but you may know it from whatever occupied that building during the time Elizabeth Barrett resided at 50 Wimpole, which is now the site of a hospital.

(Sorry if this is a double post – the hamsters held my message for several minutes.)
“it’s fun to charter an accoutant and sale the wide accountancy…” [/Monty Python]
I like the description of the play (although E and R Browning kind of get on my nerves).
Strange thing is, I know where the PM lives. I just can’t recall the names of places anymore (I swear Alzeimer’s is right around the corner for me).
Thanks for the help.
