But the problem with Stirling writing the Mordor scenes is that he’d like Mordor and cheat in the bad guy’s favor. Judging from Stirling’s posts on rec.arts.sf.written, the guy is an authoritarian-ophile. Kind of an anti-anarchist, so he’d be perfect for Sauron et al.

Well, actually, given the crew of the ship there I don’t think it’s lesbianism that one would have to worry about, though I’m sure the fighting scenes and Eustace’s adventure (?) in the slave market would be described in a great deal more detail.

Alright. I’m really goin’ to Hell. I just got a mental image of a “slash” fiction story between Eustace and Reepicheep. That is so wrong.
