It was funny, but I was really creeped out by Mom saying they’ll lie to the neighbors and raise the kids as twins… wtf?
It’s been done, not necessarily twins but the parents of a young daughter raising her child as their own. See for example Bobby Darrin and Jack Nicholson.

A simple enough gag, but it made me burst out laughing which is something The Simpsons hasn’t done in awhile: The parody of the opening, with Bart driving instead of riding his skateboard was overall funny, but his landing the car on Homer was fricking hilarious.
I thought this was the best new episode in a long time. Damning with faint praise, I know, but still.
