The Simpsons 399/400th episodes 13 May '07 (spoilers)

As is Richard Sakai, the drunken Japanese businessman in the blowfish episode.

I don’t think Richard Sakai is named for John Frink…

Keeping on the subject of characters named after Simpsons writers, Richard Sakai was also the name of a jazz musician in the episode where Bart becomes a drummer at a jazz club; and Wally Kogen, who once sold Homer counterfeit tickets to the Super Bowl, is named after two writers- Jay Kogen and Wally Wolodarsky.

Did anyone catch the coordinates that appeared at the begining of one of the episodes? What were they?

Hawking was better on Futurama.

Wolodarsky was also a player chosen in a Canadian football league draft, I think in Homer the Heretic, and he’s a football player who fumbles the ball in some other episode. They threw his name in there a lot.

John Swartzwelder got a lot of mentions too.
