I just saw the Simpsons episode with the new kid, Alex, that is a major prep. Even though I’ve seen it before, I just realized that I haven’t seen her since that episode. Where did she go? Did she move because all the kids played in grease? I don’t think so, because she started to throw grease just like everyont else. So where is she?
Ummm, drawing blanks. What season is the episode from? Can you give a wee more detail on the episode so I place it.
Do you mean the Lisa Kudrow guest character from “Lard of the Dance”?
She was a guest character. If only the same could be said of Disco Stu.
I think she was there just for the sake of that one episode. Lisa Kudrow probably doesn’t have time to do a reoccurring character on a show other than her own.
adam, it’s the episode where Homer and Bart go into the grease business, and Lisa meets up with a much more sophisticated girl from the big city. The grease fight happens at the school dance.
Hey! Disco Stu does not need to advertise!
Well, she did with that Mad About You waitress that was Phoebie’s sister…
Most likely you will see her as a background character during various school shots, like Ham, Data, that girl Milhouse liked, the girl that was smarter than Lisa, and the rest, there on Giligan’s Island…
True, but her run on Mad About You began before Friends was on the air (and supposedly it was her appearances as Ursala on Mad About You that landed her a spot on Friends). I know she did appear on Mad About You after Friends began airing, but I think that once she had her own show she appeared less (though I’m not sure where to find info regarding how many episodes she appeared in each season), until she stopped entirely a year or two after Friends premiered.
Let’s forget Maggie’s arch-nemesis: Gerald, the unibrow baby!
How about that great all-star bowling team, the Homewreckers? (Lurleen Lumpkin, Mindy Simmons, Jacques, and Princess Khasmir).
Poor, unfortunate Uter and Apu’s brother Sanjay spring to mind as well.
I am partial to the Stereo-types (Willie, Apu, Captain McCallister, and Luigi). Although the Home-wreckers did all have the forgotten character appeal going for them.
And my last post should say:
Let’s not forget…
Milhouse’s girlfriend transferred to Catholic school, remember?
And remember, he also started showing signs of puberty when they were doing the smoochie. As soon as she was gone, his blue pubes fell out, his balls reverted, and his voice changed back.
Remember that Uter is dead- he was caught by the rampaging Civil War mob and beaten to death. His parents were seen in a short scene in an unrelated episode talking to Principal Skinner.
“We haven’t seen Uter since that field trip! Please, we only want closure!”
[Uter]“Please don’t make me run! I’m full of chocolate!”[/Uter]
Didn’t Uter reappear in an episode this season?
If he did, it makes me wonder about the several-season gap between his disappearance and his parents wondering where he was.
(It’d make a cool episode if they explained it, IMO. He’s a minor character, but every dog has his day.)
Well, Uter was also killed, ground up, and served to the kids by the cafeteria lady. In fact, all the kids except Lisa, Bart, and Milhouse were rounded up, killed, and eaten. Wait, they were killed to when they fell in the razor sharp grinder.
How come Homer and Marge don’t miss them? How could they continue the series after two of the main characters were killed off? It’s almost like they forgot the episode where all the kids were killed!
Stop speculating on disappearing characters, or else.

Apu played for the Pin Pals. After they lost to the Stereo-types, he remarked that they had begged him to join their team, but he said no. I can’t recall who the fourth stereo-type was.
I liked the missing character Poochie. He appears mainly in Halloween cameos, so he’s about due to return.
