Thanks for the update. OK what can I get in the meantime to keep my mind off of it… I guess I could always fill out my library of expansion backs.
I’ve found that The Sims is more fun when you try to make their lives miserable, get a happy couple with a nice home, then bring in a “homewrecker” sim, or an antisocial sim
for example, i have one family i call my “torture” family, the Gate$ family, bill gate$ and Melinda gate$, and a “automated cleaning drone”,(basically a sim with all the points in cleanliness and active, wearing a “robot” skin) in a low end “slum” house, the toilets and showers are outside, so they have no privacy when nature calls
Melinda hates bill, and is in love with the cleaning robot, who also hates bill, yet bill loves Melinda, so those three are always squabbling
their neighbors are the Krueger family (Freddy Krueger, Amanda Krueger and Jason Vorhees Krueger 
) Freddy and Jason hate each other, Freddy hates everyone and goes around slapping, teasing, and fighting everyone
so, who do i always end up teleporting over to the gate$ house? Freddy and Jason, billy-boy always ends up getting beaten up by F&J, and ends up crying like a little girl
