The Somewhat Cynical Movie Recipe thread (no spoilers please)

When people talk about how they found movie Z unoriginal because it was like movies/books X and Y, someone inevitable says (though I’m not sure if it’s a complaint or a defense) that “there * are* no original movie ideas left, so what do you expect?” If that’s the case, there should be a lot of fodder for this thread  You don’t even have to hate a movie to “see” it’s origins.

Pick a movie, any movie, and give us the recipe for it. Of course, since tastes vary, others might give a different recipe for the same movie with what they consider superior results- isn’t that what cooking is all about?

Please don’t put spoilers in your recipes, it’s not necessary to tell how each ingredient flavors the dish you’re making. (or use spoiler boxes at the end of it if you must explain)

28 Days Later

  • 1 cup the Last Man on Earth
  • 2/3 cup **Z for Zachariah ** by Robert C. O’Brien
  • 1 tsp ** Twelve Monkeys**

Mix together Last Man on Earth and Z for Zachariah to moisten. batter will be lumpy, do not over-stir. Cook a 450 F for 28 days, then place on a wire rack to cool. Use Twelve Monkeys to garnish to taste.

Varitations: One might substitute 1 cup The Omega Man for Last Man on Earth, as they’re from the same source and have similar flavor.
