The success of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

The fanfic I just read puts her age at 200. The show never says, but if she helped “found Ponyville” that sounds about right.

There are prairie buffalo natives and cow-ponys* in the current era of the show.

The relevant episode.

Ha! Awesome.

My daughter just discovered that S9 (the final season, apparently) is already available on iTunes. She is agonizing over whether to use her hard-earned allowance to buy episodes now, or wait until she can see them for free on Netflix. They are three bucks each, or all 12 for $30. She has about eight bucks saved.

Does anyone know: if she were to buy the episodes piecemeal as she comes up with the money over time, would they give her the final two episodes for free if she bought the first ten one at a time?

There are 26 episodes in season 9, just like all other seasons except season 3 (which had only 13, since Hasbro half-decided to cancel it.) Saturday is the mid-season finale.

Ohhh. I guess iTunes sells them in smaller blocks? I doubt they will give that big a season discount.

So in one of the last episodes, Granny Smith wakes up from a nap in her rocking chair. She says:

(much later in the episode)

Nice!
