The Sunday Night Football National Plea...

It’s just so hard to listen to him compare everything to Brett Favre.

I get it, John. He’s a really good quarterback and he’s been in the NFL for a thousand years.

But really, it’s not necessary to mention the man during every single game. Particularly when it is a game he is not in, and you’ve said ‘Favre’ more often than the names of the quarterbacks who are actually playing!

Madden sucks. He says things so obvious that a neophyte could say them. He is supposed to provide insight not comedy relief. How many times do you think " did he really just say that".

If you ever watched Formula 1 in Britain, you’d never complain about Madden. Madden is just a watered-down Murray Walker… and guess what? I love 'em both.

'Tis said that the virtuous man seeks out other men of wisdom, that through rational discourse and exchange of ideas he may better himself, and so, come closer to God. I like to listen to John Madden speak to remind me how much dumber I could be.

I live in Big Ten country and I have to listen to bret musberger( refuse to capitalize).

By the third quarter he almost always sounds drunk.

I gave up on Madden years ago when I heard him say “The team that scores the most points is the one that’s going to wind up winning.”

After that, I couldn’t help pointing out how stupid he was to my dad who liked him at the time.
