The Surface Tension of Money

I have a theory. No, it’s nothing to do with the brontosaurus.

Recently, I paid Microsoft for something. I remember commenting at the time that this was a sort of reverse osmosis - the money was definitely passing from a low density area to a high density area.

This seems to happen quite often - money seems to cluster, and the bigger the cluster gets, the more money it attracts. This seems to be a bit like gravitational attraction, but I don’t like that analogy.

What if money has a surface tension, like water? A large accumulation would require lower energy than several small amounts of cash with the same total value. Large accumulations would attract and assimilate smaller amounts that came into contact.

This is why, although some money seems to pass through osmosis from my employer (loaded) to me (barren), it is immediately mopped up by any large cash deposits I go near (high street stores, the government, garages).

This theory have thus been conclusively proved, would anyone care to speculate as to what the equivalent of soap for money is? Perhaps I should clarify… soap in water lowers the surface tension - if I could somehow get some of this “money soap”, I could drop it in Megacorps bank account, and their accumulation would easily disperse, hopefully deluging me with cash.

I think research should begin straight away - who’s with me?

And could you please pass the “money towel”?

If money is like water, then my bank account must be oil, 'cause they don’t mix too well.

What, you’ve never heard of money laundering?
